It's weird how you can miss some of the really simple things around here. I always said if I ended up coming back that I was going to get a crup. Dad wasn't overly fond of them and Grandmum always enough creatures wandering around. Now I'm a little worried as to what exactly I would do with any small animals around. It's not exactly the safest place for small animals and I worry enough about poor Clio and something happening while I'm away from my tent.

Which is why I wonder about the stray cat that I've been noticing around here. It seems like everyone has been feeding it. Maybe I've been seeing more of it since I was grounded (off of that though!). Huge calico, and I have no idea what its name is. It's far too big to not have SOMEONE feeding it though. Seems rather friendly too.

More than likely it has a name I can barely pronounce. I really need to work on my Welsh.

Note to self:
A) Don't take journal on lunch unless you actually get to have lunch.
B) Buy new trousers.
C) And quills.

Can I just go back to chasing a Sasquatch today? It's a lot easier to forget what day it is when you're halfway around the world. And I never got burnt this bad which is why you never step on a dragon's tail.

It was an accident. Really.

Orrin seems to be doing better, although I have found that medicating a dragon might be easier than I had even originally thought. One month into the program and I have more minor wounds from other events than the actual dragons. Of all days to have been in Diagon, I had to Thankfully I'm not extremely clumsy or there would have been a number of other mishaps along the way. I would say not at all clumsy, but I think I lost all right to that when I tried running to Transfiguration and ended up rolling down a half flight of stairs fourth year after forgetting to tie my shoelaces. Then that was also when there was this big black dog that liked hanging around Hogwarts. Never did figure out who he belonged to nor seeing him any other year.

I have also been volunteered to take my sister school shopping between being fussed over at home. Because I just really want to stick around outside while my sister tries on robes or wants to spend all afternoon looking at books. Though I might not dislike the latter quite as much.
